Spell Question

Does anyone know if multiple castings of the Touch of Idiocy spell stack? In other words, can I keep casting the spell until the victim's scores are all 1?

You might want to field that one in the "D&D rules" forum.

But, long story short, I don't think so, no. You could keep casting it until every ability had a penalty of -6, because the spell would take the highest penalty, but the penalties do not stack. they override one another.

Penalties from the same source never stack.

And no, you can't. Only the highest penalty applies.

Ability damage stacks, but this isn't ability damage, it's a penalty.

That's right, it is a penalty, not damage so only the highest penalty applies.
