this is true, although I also feel that many of those other choices should be aviable wether theres a cleric in the party or not.

There are lots of underpowered spells.

Indeed. Cone of Cold is another excellent example.


And thats also why I find it annoying when so much of what people post here gets called "overpowered" because it equals the good spells in the PH, rather than the numerous ones that are madly underpowered.
