Spellcasting restrictions and componants

Just for clarification, the restrictions on spellcasting are as follows:

1/ Must have the right secret,
2/ Must have the right skill at rank 1+,
3/ Must have enough MP to cover the spells MP cost
4/ MAG must >= the spells MP cost excl. deductions (for time, ingredients, etc) (pg. 162),
5/ Each enhancements MP cost must be <= to your skill level (min. 1, though this is redundent in light of point 2 above).

Are ingredients supposed to be easy to find or expensive? There are some broad notes, but they're very freeform, and imply that they're generally creature parts or expensive things?

Ingredients are as easy to find as the GM wants them to be. I'd make them fairly rare, but some folks like the idea of spell components being a larger part of the process. They should be pretty hard to buy though; the guidelines indicated that only one genuine component would be found at a given market. Those harvested from creatures are basically storyline dictated - you won't be able to extract troll blood if you don't meet a troll.
