Manabu drops the dorje to his feet, snatches up the light crossbow, and fires at one of the thugs who are not yet in melee.

One of the Zhents lunges at Rhamyr, (rolling an 18 for a total of 21) dealing 4 points with a shortsword. Another launches himself at Westenberger, stabbing him for 4 pts. Elisia drops to her knees, and gets back up, a crossbow bolt nearly hitting her.
Westenberger curses, and takes his attack at the Zhentilar who nailed him. The Steelheart Chimera strikes untrue, ringing against the deck of the Black Fist. A Zhent takes a crossbow attack against caelano, missing him by a yard.
Caelano... It's your turn...

I return fire, shooting at the zhent who shot at me.

The bolt flies true, the camera panning from it's point of view. (15 to hit, 5 for damage.)
Tam 5-foot steps (more a 5-foot pounce) to another Zhent, and attacks with his sword, blood of his previous opponent sizzling on the red-hot blade.
Tam's blade comes down in a red flash, striking and cauterizing the offending Zhent.
The spellcaster in the Zhentilar party shouts "STOP! STOP! WE SURRENDER!"

"They've surrendered!" Caelano shouts. "Beware of treachery, but DON'T HARM THEM!"
"Throw down your arms!" he commands the Zhentilars. "We won't hurt you!"
"Rhamyr! Secure their ship! Medical supplies, do we have bandages!? We need to see to the wounded! All the wounded! Get busy, people!"
"And you, sir!" he calls to the Zhentilar spell-caster, "We need to talk!"
And with that he discards his crossbow and leaps across to the other ship.

Upon seeing the Zhentilar he was attacking drop his weapon and hold up his arms, Zhangyong jumps on him, grabs him by the collar and begins screaming and screeching at him in his indecipherable language. The guard doesn't now what to do.
[vanaran] "Where is the betrayer?" Zhangyong yells at the soldier, his mind set on only one goal. "He has killed my men and I will have him! I've lost track of him in this godforsaken mess, but you can't hide him forever! Give him to me! Give me the betrayer!!!!!" [/vanaran]
