Spells on index cards...

How did you template them in the first place? I am curious because this is an idea I have had to attempt to do for a long time but I can't figure out how to work with word long enough to do it. What program did you use to type each of the spells' information for the templates?

Oh yeah, did you do this with feats also?

If you actually do this with the spells post it please! I'm sure a lot of us would be interested. I for one would be happy with the spells in almost any digital format so I could just cut and paste the basics on a sheet for a quick reference guide or spellbook cheatsheet.

If you are looking for spells in digital format:

If you are looking to save yourself 10 hours of work and would like a set of wizard cards created to a higher production value than your PC's printer is liable to create:

spell list

thanx that will help a lot. I'm looking to just cut and paste the bear nessiceties. I have a lot of books and it can be a hassle to try to remember where that NPC's spell came from.;)

I actually wrote a little perl script that would read the SRD and reformat the spells on note cards in RTF format. The only drawback is that you do need to hand-edit some of the cards to make them look good. Posted it here a while ago, but nobody seemed interested at the time.

The cool thing is that such a script is 100% legal, because it doesn't contain any content. One could argue that the output it produces isn't, but nobody's going to bug you about that for personal use.
