SPELLS & SPELLCRAFT: The Greatest d20 Rulebook? YES!!!

I just thought I'd say that this review means a lot to me, especially since the good Kaptain said he would never buy anything with my name on it again. ;)

Ya, he's sort of funny that way. Well, not really funny, sort of sad and depressing in an almost funny way. The type that just makes you shake your head in dispbelief while you chuckle.

From what little I've heard it sounds like a really good product. Congradulations on that. :)

Paladin: 2nd level Aura of Light
3rd level Sword of Justice
4th level Halo of Vengeance
Ranger gets 5 new 1st level spells, 3 2nd level, 1 each 3rd and 4th.
So did paladins really only get 3 new spells?
They already have the least of any spellcasting class - might as well pile it on? :(

it expands the horizons of any spellcasting character and any campaign that uses magic in ANY way, shape or form. Easily the best non-core d20 rules book I've bought yet!

That scares me, because it smacks of "tack-ons"

Still waiting.

(C'mon Talon. Still waiting for that shipping charges email so you can get that baby in the mail!)

Well glad you found SOMETHING you like. :) Incidently you'd think if Will and the guys wanted some GOOD Pr, they'd give me a free copy! ;) But still glad to hear that someone likes this book. I know I like the previews of it so far.

Congrats to the FFG guys for another solid product.

Well, while the Kaptain's praise has me interested, I usually prefer to read a more objective review before actually buying a product ('specially since I have to order over the 'net, and won't get to actually flip through the book pre-purchase.)

I think I'll wait for Psion's review, and see how it holds up then.

Not that I don't agree Pendy, but I think I'd like to do a review too! :) Course Psion rep is a lot better than mine. I bet he tithes alot to increase his rep! ;)

Hmm...
I guess I should take look at this one, from the description it sounds great.
The -lesser "deity's" cult- idea seems like it could have a lot of promise.
And KK was completely right about Spycraft, it has quickly become my favorite RPG.
That game is amazing, good call on that one Kap. :)

I only heap praise on the things that blow me away, like AEG's Spycraft (best d20 game ever!)... the rest of the time, I just bitch. :D
