When using a splash weapon the SRD indicates that the weapon can be used to target a) an individual or b) a grid intersection. In both cases the weapon deals splash damage, but my confusion lies with the area covered. Am I correct in the following line of thinking...
1) If a medium sized creature is targeted the splash hits the 8 squares surrounding the creature
2) If you target the grid you only splash the immediate 4 squares of the grid
3) If you target a large creature you splash the 12 squares around the creature
So the bigger the target the more splash area you get...right.
