[SPOILERS] Farscape 1-10-02

10 left after tonight's Kansas.

Very entertaining. I loved the outfits. D'argo's and Aeryn's were great! The muppets (well, Sesame Street) appearance and references (Rygel as a toy!) was cool, too. I liked John's interaction with his folks, those were well done and were the emotional backbone to the ep, especially considering all the wackiness going on around him. It's a credit to the show that such a zany plotline would actually work and not look overly hokey.

It is good to have Farscape back, even for a short while.

The only dissappointing thing was knowing that a good chunk of the plot they are working on now will never be resolved and that there are only 10 new eps left. * sigh *

I agree it was a very good episode. A nice change after the previous episodes that were starting to get a little odd. It looks to be really developing in an interesting way, just so it can end with no resolution. *sigh*

You make a good point with the change of pace from the previous ep. I forgot that it was very jarring and needed to watch it again just to figure out what was really going on. This one was a little more grounded and straightforward.

It wasn't bad. They did all the typical things that happen when a series goes to Earth (for good and bad). I was more interested in the Scorpius stuff, for the most part.

I though it was good, Rigel cracking out on halloween candy was funny as crap.

I don’t think you saw that wrong. I’m wondering which side of the fence Bracca is on. Remember that Graza gave Bracca a dose of her aphrodisiac and asked him if what she was doing to Scorpy (interrogating and torturing him) bothered Bracca. He said “no”. Either he was lying then or he’s lying now - or he has no conscience, and just goes with the flow.

Yes! According to David Kemper, Farscape executive producer, the next few episodes will be the best yet filmed!

I have a question, though. The phone rang as the episode was starting, so I may have missed something. He found himself in orbit around Earth in the 80’s… was there a reason why he went down to look around? Why did John go down and start messing about in his own past?

Too bad John didn't manage to grab a king-sized bag of M&M's before he left Earth... he could bribe Rygel for ages.

If memory serves me correctly, John had been told that going to his own past could cause changes. He wouldn't need to do anything to cause these 'ripples' they would simply happen because he was there. He would need to do something to try to correct the ripples though.
