Yes, that was the case, BUT I still missed. -Darn that 50% miss chance. Maybe I will get in some blows in the next round, with a shield bash and ax slash. If not, well at least Uthgar will know his shaman is trying to live up to the ideal.

There's one good point in your favor : If it attacks you, you'll automatically know where the attack came from.

Umm sorry that I may have goofed here Da Chicken. I did say I did not want any spoilers and by just named the dragon and the module at the beginning, did not think I was throwing anything away. I will see if I can edit and do so now though.

Then I went to my DMG and checked up on finding invisible creatures. There I learned (DMG p 78) that it's practically impossible to pinpoint an invisible creature, either with spot or listen, this way. One must beat the DC by 20 to do so. So our DC to pinpoint Big U is 0 + 20 = 20.

Works for me.
