Spring Attack + Mantis Leap + Power Lunge

Just wondering if this combo would work, and how effective it would be.

You make your Jump check for Mantis Leap and succeed, this allows you to make a charge attack that will inflict double damage on your opponent. That is, double weapon damage as well as double strength damage.

Then Power Lunge says whenever you make a successful attack roll during a charge, you do double strength damage. So how much would this be?

Example: Monk has 18 strength for +4 damage... Mantis Leap would make him do +8 damage instead of the +4. Now would Power Lunge double the +8 or add another +4 (I am guessing the +4)?

Lastly, would you be able to negate the AoO you get from Power Lunge with a Spring Attack?

Here is one more semi-related question: Can you Tumble with a charge? Lets say I want to charge an enemy that is behind another enemy. Can I make a Tumble check, and if successful (need a 20 or higher) Tumble past the first enemy and make a charge attack on the second?

It would indeed be the +4. Remember that 'double' in D&D doesn't really mean double. It means "Add the original value." So "double damage" + "double damage" really means "take the original damage, add it to itself, and add it to itself again".

In this case, it's "take weapon+str, add weapon + str, add str" because only the str is doubled twice.

Lastly, would you be able to negate the AoO you get from Power Lunge with a Spring Attack?

That depends on whether you believe that the AoO comes from movement (in which case SA would work) or from overextending yourself & leaving yourself open (in which case it would not). IDHMBIFOM but I would guess that the Power Lunge AoO is not from movement, since you don't get an AoO for making a charge attack normally.

So, probably not.

I believe you can, according to the sage. (As long as you can convince your DM that you are moving in a straight line.) Personally, I would raise the DC for the tumble significantly - it's got to be harder to tumble in a perfectly straight line and not break your momentum than it is to just tumble "through" a square.
