SRAST-AKLON
A creature that offers refuge and protects those it gives refuge too

srast-aklon
A prophet bringing his people to a promised land, an idealist seeking a protector for his people, or a humble servant willing to do anything to help his family. These are the types of beings that could become a srast-aklon creature. A srast-aklon creature is inhabited by a special type of fury that have given up its form an its powers to imbue a mortal with it’s otherworldly power in accord with some ancient mystical pact.
Havenfuries can appear spontaneously. But a special dark ritual can also be preformed to bring about their habitation in a mortal form.
ASYLUM OF WRATH [Malediction]:
This curse can summon a srast-aklon to punish those who have harmed, oppressed, and/or systematically mistreated: immigrants, aliens, refugees, colonists and occupying invaders. Components: Witnessing the violation of a member of your race, subrace, or background by a native creature who is not of your race, subrace or background, on that creature’s native soil.
Actions (1 day): Reciting the excerpt from “Promises of Land and Life”
Effects: 50% chance of becoming a srast-aklon creature.
A successful abjuration that would force a srast-aklon to leave this plane of existence. Simply removes the template otherwise only the death of the creature can free the srast-aklon.
When a srast-aklon uses it’s powers it has physical manifestations on the creature with which it is merged. It entire body, clothing and all equipment it carries becomes non-reflective to all light making the creature look like nothing more than a creature of darkness with pupilless glowing red eyes. It’s body is also circled by at least three red-orange glowing disembodied translucent beasts. These beasts are usually a powerful symbol representing the base creature’s people. An eastern background could have dragons, a goblin could have wolves, a drow could have spiders and so forth.
Creating A srast-aklon Creature
"srast-aklon " is an acquired template that can be added to any creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature).
A srast-aklon uses all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here.
Size and Type
The creature type changes to Outsider gaining the appropriate augmented subtype. The base creature’s Size is unchanged. Recalculate base attack bonus, saves and skill points (unless the base creature’s skill points are better).
Hit Dice
The base creature’s HD increase to d8’ if they are d8 or higher they remain unchanged.
Speed:
Same as base creature.
Armor Class
A srast-aklon gains a bonus to natural armor equal to its ½ it’s base attack bonus and a deflection bonus equal to ½ it’s base attack bonus.
BAB/Grp:
Recalculate the creatures base attack bonus and grapple for it’s new creature type
Attack
A srast-aklon gains a touch attack
Full Attack
A srast-aklon gains a touch attack in addition to all other attacks, the touch attack is made at a -5 attack penalty when making a full attack if it has other attack forms.
Damage
A srast-aklon’s touch attack deals 1d6 x half the srast-aklon’s Challenge Ratting. A successful Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 the srast-aklon’s challenge rating + the srast-aklon’s Charisma Modifier) halves this damage.
Special Attacks
A srast-aklon retains all the special attacks of the base creature, plus the special attacks as described below. Creatures struck by the srast-aklon’s touch attack are automatically subject to each effects of these special abilities.
Corrupt Language (Su): a srast-aklon can permanently replace any two languages of a creature (including common) within 100 ft +10 feet per point of challenge Rating, with the native language of a havenward (see below) , if the creature fails a Will save (DC 10+1/2 the srast-aklon’s Challenge Rating+ the srast-aklon’s Charisma modifier). This is a curse effect that requires a remove curse to be cast while standing on some of the havenward’s (see below) native soil
Stealskill (Su): a srast-aklon can permanently steal a single skill (ranks) of any creature within 100 ft +10 feet per point of challenge Rating, if the creature fails a Will save (DC 10+1/2 the srast-aklon’s Challenge Rating+ the srast-aklon’s Charisma modifier). It gains free use of these ranks up to it’s normal maximum, (it can store a number of skills equal to 3+ the srast-aklon’s Intelligence bonus), it can grant these skill ranks to a willing havenward (see below) both the srast-aklon and the havenward cannot exceed 3+ their HD in max ranks. A creature that makes its saving throw is immune to this ability for 24 hours. This is a curse effect that requires a remove curse to be cast while standing on some of the havenward’s (see below) native soil
Snitch Silver (Su): a srast-aklon automatically translocates a single silver piece each week from each non-havenward creature who is within 1’mile X the srast-aklon’s challenge rating. This silver arrives in a pile next to the srast-aklon, subjects of this ability are allowed a will save (DC equal to 10 + the srast-aklon’s Challenge Rating + the srast-aklon’s Charisma Modifier) to negate. This effect is extremely powerful (see the enhanced DC), is difficult to detect (upon a successful save), and only being inside an anti-magic field, dimensional lock, or prismatic sphere protects against it.
Spell-Like Abilities: A srast-aklon with an Intelligence or Wisdom score of 8 or higher has two or more spell-like abilities, depending on its Challenge Rating, as indicated on the table below. The abilities are cumulative
Unless otherwise noted, an ability is usable once per day. Caster level equals the srast-aklon’s Challenge Rating, and the save DC is Charisma-based.

Special Qualities
A srast-aklon retains all the special qualities of the base creature, plus the following special qualities as described below.
Havenward (Ex): When a srast-aklon’s appears the violated, race, sub-race or background is granted the status of havenward: the status has several special properties: The save DC’s for these special qualities are 10 +½ the havenfury’s CR + the havenfury’s Charisma modifier.
-Obedience: as a standard action a srast-aklon can at will dominate monster a havenward.
-Union: srast-aklon can sense the direction, distance (exact), emotional state, and status of all havenwards with 1’mile x the srast-aklon’s challenge rating.
-Life: Havenfuries and havenwards within line of sight can loan hit points to the other as an immediate action, treat these as temporary hit points lasting one hour though lost hit points are permanent.
-Hearth: Wherever a srast-aklon is present havenwards within 10 miles X the srast-aklon’s challenge rating know it and are drawn toward a 1 mile radius of the havenward. A successful will save allows the havenward to resist the pull for one day.
Spiritshield (Su): the disembodied beasts around a srast-aklon shield it from damage by non-havenwards and deal that damage back in kind. The amount of damage reversed in this fashion is based on the challenge rating of the srast-aklon.

CR 11 + 20
Vulnerability to Havenward (Ex): a srast-aklon takes half again as much (+50%) damage as normal from havenwards, regardless of whether a saving throw is allowed, or if the save is a success or failure. It also suffers a penalty to all saves equal to ¼ it’s challenge rating against a havenward’s spells or effects.
Saves:
Recalculate all base saves for the creatures new type
Abilities
Increase from the base creature as follows: Cha +6.
Skills
After recalculating hit points you gain the knowledge type associated with the creatures havenward creature type as a class skill. Treat skills from the base creature’s list as class skills. All other skills as cross-class.
Feats:
srast-aklon’s gain Ability Focus (snitch silver) as a bonus feat.

Same as the base creature.
