Awhile back I thought I saw a rumor that the Epic Handbook would be making its way into the SRD. Did this actually happen or is WotC keeping a tight grip on this just like everything else?

There's a bare minimum of epic info already in the 3.5 SRD - is that what you're referring to?

The Handbook itself is not in the SRD, but the basic epic level information in the 3.5 DMG is. Class level progressions, a dozen or so feats, ect.

As I understand it, Andy just got busy putting up the 3.5e SRD, which delayed other SRD additions. I wouldn't be surprised if he's now busy with Unearthed Arcana and/or Expanded Psionics SRD additions.
