SRD In PDF, Any bought it(Story in news)

From personal experience, I think $7 is overcharging for the amount of work required to compile the documents, even if they've done a much better job than I did with the Modern SRD.

it's 900 pages extensivly hyperlinked and bookmarked and represents nearly 3 months of Anna's life, I think $7.00 is quite resonable.

Does anyone know if the links include spells which reference other spells? You know--you look up Greater Command and it says "...as the Command spell...." Those kind of links, I would pay for.

Actually, if you click on Greater Command it say

The character gives the subject a one-word command...

It has the full text of the spell, it doesn't reference Command at all. Which is nice in my book.

Personally, I'm most excited about the upkeep. I've been using an ancient (with some things clearly wrong...) SRD just because it's too much hassle to keep on top of things.

And some errata is included. Boots of Standard equipment are at the errataed price, frex. I imagine that's the way it is in the updated SRD.

At your going rate, that's not the kind of work you'd be doing. I suppose you'd pay someone $95 to clean your house for 2 hours too? Wow! Need a house cleaner? Who needs to be a programmer, anyway?

I've been paid more to do less fairly often actually... make PDFs for 2 hours etc. which is basically sitting there making sure they work.

Very nice! I will probably buy this for our DM, who hates all the page-flipping when you have to look up spells mid-game. He always uses his laptop during game, so it's a perfect gift for him

Anna's PDF is #6 this month on RPGNow's sales charts, so it looks like there IS a need for it and people are buying it. Good job Anna.
