[SS] Lion's Charge unbalanced spell?

Quidam

First Post
I recently discovered the spell Lion's Charge from Savage Species and am trying to incorporate it into an Arcana Unearthed game. It allows a full attack after a charge. I hadn't considered such a spell unbalancing (i've yet to see it in action) but have heard others say it's ludicrously so. Thought I'd see what the EN community has to say about it.

Also note that the Miniatures Handbook has a modified version of the spell. The new version is (IIRC) Druid and Ranger only, grants the poune ability on the round it is cast, is personal, and has a casting time of 1 swift action (efectively 1 free action. It also has a duration of 1 round only.

In AU

I understand that AU's magic system is handled differently- that's one reason it's an exotic spell. Exotic spells tend to be a bit high on the power scale for their level. It doesn't sound like I'm getting the scandalized responses I'd thought I might get, though...

If its scandal you want, think on this: The spell duplicates an epic feat, but does it much better than the epic feat could ever hope to do. I don't think a spell should be able to do that.
