ST:DS9 Spike TV 4/5

I'm not so sure they have them all, nor that they'll show them straight through from the beginning, if the TNG reruns are anything to judge by.

I really hope you're wrong about this. Unlike virtually all the other Trek's, DS9 really needs to be watched in order. While many episodes can stand on their own (like the one where Sisko is a 50's sci-fi writer), you'd lose far too much of the meta-plot that drove the series for most of its run.

Next up for Altalazar and wife: Firefly!

Good Guess - It is on my list. I have a few other TV shows on my list as well, that I've not seen but heard good things about. Alias is one.

I never have time to watch shows in their real time slots. I spend the weekends watching DVDs in between homework.

Bonus: No commercials.

You're probably right. Maybe it'll spur cheaper DVD releases. Are all of the DS9 seasons available?

Yes, they are all out now - I've watched them all. Season seven came out in December.

One thing to note - it is cheaper to order them from somewhere like Amazon, and then it is cheaper to order them soon after they come out because as time goes on and supplies dwindle, the price discount creeps down and the price creeps up. They start at around $90 a season, but eventually you'll look at 120-130 if you wait too long.

Voyager just started - Season one came out in Februrary and the remaining seasons will now come out about every two months. Look for rebates there.

For TNG and DS9, there were rebates that lasted til the end of 2003 that you could get for getting basically the whole set. I got, I think, $40 or $50 back in rebates between the two.

Starting today (in twenty minutes) from 11 AM through 8 PM (central time) with a marathon block of DS9's (beginning with the first episode).
