Certainly. If you could, try to make any PRC you take available to others, though. I don't want to leave people out. If you can't, well, then, you tried at least.

Sure thing, here's what I cna do. When we level, and people pick their stuff, if anyone is interested in a PrC, Ill find out what they like and search my library for something that fits. Hero's Guide add just a ton of PrCs, so id be glad to help.

I think I'd like the throw my proverbial hat in the ring as a Duro Tech Specialist. Specifically, he would be a ship tech, and also a backup pilot. Known as someone willing to look the other way for certain ship modifications, as well as questionable shipments, he is a valuable addition to a ship crew.

Tech Specialists are the worst character class IMO, but I would like to play one once.

Hey, this is the perfect oportunity for you to play a droid!!!

Hehehe....but really, whatever you do, we got your back.

Hey DX, I don't have many supplements, if you see any PrC's that progresses well after Scout, let me know. I'm still working on my character. Thanks!

I'd happily play a droid if it would fit in. DM, let me know if playing a droid would be ok. I only have the core book and one or two others that don't have extra droids, so if I played one, it would be from the main book, or maybe from scratch.

Looks good, Nac Mac Feegle and Insight. Start creating your characters!

Insight, I think a Duro Tech Specialist would fit in better than a droid, but if you want to play a droid, fine with me.

Once I get all the characters, I'll start weaving everyone in, and then we'll be on our way!

Aw man, I thought Duro was a brand name or something, I completely forgot about the race!! Sorry to knock the wind out of your sails with the droid thing, I was just playin' off of your sad sounding post. :heh: Buck up, little Tech Specialist!

Question: Since Blaster Rifles are outlawed, are other things like vibro blades (name?) illegal too? What kind of ships does Barizarn usually use? Am I jumping the gun already?!?!

Hey CANdo, I know you said no Imperial or Rebel affiliation, but what about other factions? I ask because I've been wanting to take up the Black Sun Enforcer PrC, and I also believe if I had Black Sun ties I could make a killer background. Just asking.

Also, for Insight, if he decided to Be a Duro Tech Specialist, Hero's Guide has rules for affiliation with Siener Fleet Engineering Systems, and has a Sienar Engineer PrC, which allows crafting of some hardcore Mastercraft Starship Components and bonuses to crafting.

OK Duro Techie it is...

Wish I had some skill pts... =( Seriously, Tech Specialists really need like 6 or 8 skill pts per level... 4 is just pathetic. I know they are assuming that all Tech Specialists are going to have a high INT, the base number is the lowest in the game, which doesn't strike me as quite fair considering their class abilities are questionably balanced with other classes as it is... OK rant over

Any idea what the requirements are for that Sienar Engineer?

I don't have hero's guide with me atm, I can give you exacts tonight, 7 PM Pacific. But roughly, it is Sienar Fleet Systems Membership, 5 ranks in Knowledge: Engineering, 5 Ranks in Knowledge: Starships, and a feat I believe.
