Ranger, how bad is your CPU compared to the specs? If you get more memory, you might be ok with the CPU. I heard there is a couple of different single player modes.

A P4 1.3 Ghz. Because of my 850 chipset motherboard, I run old discontinued memory module (RIMM).

Yep, I'm in need of a MPM (Motherboard-Processor-Memory) overhaul.

Reviews say that the maps are too small. IMO, this is a crippling inadequacy for any "battle" game with vehicles.

Looks like it's back to Tribes and Battlefield 1942 for me.
