Star Wars collectible miniature game

I remember when this was just a rumor...its nice to continue hearing it confirmed. :) I know I'll be addicted to this in a second. I STARTED d20 with Star Wars...

So this explains the pain of WotC trying to revive the minis game concept with D&D figs. Can we say guniea pig for licenced properties?

Perhaps. Then again, we just like cheap pre-painted plastic minis for our RP game sessions.

Then again, it would be nice to re-enact some of the great ground battle scenes in Star Wars, from Hoth to Endor, and any scenes from the Prequel.

Ohh... Storm Troopers, lots of Storm Troopers!!!

I pray that they are not from some sort of goo-y plastic, and that they are 30mm minis (usable with all the other lines).

I got some LotR minis recently and they are just so out of scale with the rest of my minis that it isn't funny (the minis are so cool though)!!

Cergorach pretty much read my mind, but I feel it bears repeating:

Stormtroopers!
Stormtroopers!
Stormtroopers!

I already bought three Epic Duels boxed sets to build Clone and Droid armies, and got 6 Stormtroopers to escort my AT-ST sclae model!

I am psyched!!

Did anyone see a release date on the page?

It'll be a long wait...August. But it shall be worth it!

As for thier scale, I assume they'll be 25mm just like the D&D minis.
Are the 'new' CMG D&D minis as big as the Chainmail minis or smaller?

Chainmail was 'heroic 25mm', which really worked out to about 28 mm. So, for the most part, they're still compatible. also, given the wide variety of sizes in D&D Minis (*cough*Commoner*cough*), it shouldn't hurt to mix & match them.
