Star Wars Saga/D&D 5th Hybrid [OOC/Rolls]

I figure the refills would be in the ship, if he has any.

Just a note, I was thinking the deal where you can allow people to gain bonuses when they expend Hit Dice would only cost one supply per six people treated, rather than six supplies. It would be one supply/person for regenerating Hit Dice. Is that what you were thinking?

That sounds like a good idea also... hmm let me consider it a bit

Okay, must read up on the Jedi Knight PrC.

Can I do a little creative narration of Kacela's experience in this Force Trance thing? It might make for a good catalyst for reaching this new plateau via the mechanical touchstone of a PrC.

If you don't have Star Wars Saga the list of Force Techniques are...

Force Point Recovery - with a one minute re-force you regain 1 spend Force Point since your last rest. You can take this technique more then once, each time regain an addition spent Force Point since your last rest. (the Saga rules were after an encounter but I am think last short or long rest as 5th does not track 'per encounter')
Force Power Mastery - you can 'take 10' on one Force Power that you have. You can take this technique more then once with a different Force Power. (I am thinking on making this Advantage on your Skill roll, what do you all think?)
Improved Force Trance - see Houserules, but also you double the Hit Points you regain during a Force Trance (i.e. you roll your Hit Dice + Constitution modifier and then double that result).
Improved Move Light Objects - see Houserules.
Improved Sense Force - you can now use Sense Force as part of your action (no time or free action)
Improved Sense Surroundings - you can now use Sense Surroundings as part of your action (no time or free action)

Neat...do we get one at 1st level Jedi Knight? Ah, I see...no. 2nd level for techniques. Still, something to look forward to!

Also, for Talents, it specifies only the Duelist, Lightsaber Form, or Lightsaber Combat (from Jedi class). Do Jedi Knights never get other talents from the Jedi class list?

Up to you.

I can probably use a bit of lightsaber duelling ability actually, so it's not a giant problem. And I can always go back and do more regular Jedi levels if I want more other force talents, which I will. Plus, starting at level 11 the Jedi Master PrC opens up and they can take any force talent.

Hm. How many Talents should Kacela have? This is what I have right now:

1 Lightsaber Defense (+1 all defenses when lightsaber is ignited and held at ready)
3 Force Focus (Use the Force to regain a Force Power as an action)
5 Dark Side Sense

But I see that Reks has four Talents. Did one of us make a mistake?

Also, I just realized I picked a talent based on a misconception. Force Focus isn't useless, but when I took it I didn't realize you could 'recharge' a spent Force Power with a Force Point as a reaction. For someone with as many points as Kacela, that would generally be a much better idea, since Actions are quite precious. Is it possible to 'revise' talent choices?

And are the Force Point increases from Strong in the Force and Force Boon cumulative?

He got the 4th talent for 1st level Jedi Knight. That where the Severing Strike comes from (as it is a Jedi Knight Talent also).

Yes if you have both Force Boon and Strong in the Force you gain +3 Force Points and your Force Die is a 1d8+1 instead of 1d4+1. I am not sure if it also means you could spend 3 Force Points in a round or not... still debating that and have for a while.

I don't think you have ever used that Talent so I am fine if you want to change it. Telekinetic Savant Talent is no Force Point and is only a Reaction to regain one with the [telekinetic] descriptor in it.
