Oh, I was thinking I'd used it against the troopers, but maybe I didn't... I coulda sworn I did though.

Anyway, this giant monster's Fort+5, I might as well be sneezing into a hurricane, so it's fine. :)

Sorry to be a pain. I shot my Saurian once. It was already wounded from the previous round, so my crit killed it.

My second shot targeted the Rancor and according to my calculations, would have killed it.

So the Rancor never got to make a roar attack.

Possibly, your attack on the Rancor should have been made at disadvantage due to our house rules regarding firing into melee. Either way, like Shayuri said, in this case it was no harm, no foul. The Rancor roared, Cal was the only one subject to being frightened due to range, and still hit it (for once).

Sorry I miss read your post (as I seem to do a lot) but yes as Forge Fury mentioned you would have been at Disadvantage against it without Precise Shot feat. Sorry about that...

Just as a note, you can get all of your Force Powers back by taking a one-minute "Re-Focus" action (see the Force Powers section). Also any rest also gets you all of them back (short or long rest).
