hehe well according to Star Wars Saga that would probably be betwen a Major and Moderate Transgression so I would say 1 or 2 points depending on how Reks tries to justify it.

If its "This is taking to long, death!" then 2, if its more "This man is standing in the way of us saving the Kwi" probably 1. Its still a questionable act and could be considered murder...

That could work too... but he is not being overly hostile too you or the team. But of course you can tell right now he has no intentions of NOT going back to hunting Kwi.

Yes. At 2nd level you have 2 hit dice also if you want to roll with your second one... it will just take you a few days to get them back.
