Star Wars - Starships of the Galaxy

It seems to be one of the most requested books whenever anyone asks people what they'd like to see come out in the SW line. Those in the know at WotC have said lots of things like 'maybe', possibly', and 'it's being considered', but I don't think it's high on the priority list. Don't expect it for another year at least, even it it does end up existing at all.

Not surprisingly, JD Wiker and Rodney Thompson (aka Moridin) are familiar names in the Star Wars RPG lines, and they're contributing to d20 Future.

Hrm...SW 2nd Edition, using d20 Modern? That'd be one way to do it...I don't think it'd really work well, but it's possible.

I'm not entirely sure what I'd want in a revised Starships of the Galaxy, aside from some updates. The design rules are pretty decent, though there are a few more options that they could throw in. I'd like better sensors, really.

Hrm...perhaps more standard ships, and then add in a customization or two after each one?

So far, I've replaced the multifire and autofire rules with d20 Modern autofire rule.

I've used d20 Modern TWF feat tree to clarify the use of mixed weapons.

Well, I can understand your concern, especially if d20 Future is going to be a big toolkit to introduce almost all kinds of futuristic elements appropriate for the wide spectrum of the genre, from hard sci-fi to space opera fantasy.
