Dear god, tell me that Stargate: Atlantis comment is a joke?!
The season finale episode was cool, but make the White Glowy Beings the center of a whole season this way seems wrong. Stargate was cool because the mystical was kept in the far background, so the Gouald claims at divinity were obviously a false.
It seemed clear to me that Oma took Daniel away, that she or the others wanted Anubis to have the Eye, and that ascending to a higher level of being is pretty frickin' easy if an angelic being wants it to happen.
I think if they pull this off, it will be a great final season for Stargate, particularly with the Ancients angle made central to the plot. But in looking at the deterioration of this past season respective to earlier ones, I don't know if they can do it.
