wow, nobody commenting on SGU. further demonstrating how the series was underwhelming.

I though the episode was interesting, showing how things played out had they settled.

The sad thing is in 2000 years, they build a civilization and a legacy. Yet, at the same time, all that work is just about lost due to the planet's demise.

Well, I still do watch it. But I watch it when they make it available online.... which for some reason specific to several syfy channel shows is 30 days after it airs. So, i'm always delayed in these conversations. :)

I'm still watching as well, I just haven't been as driven to comment and analyze.

Also, I thought this episode was fairly pointless and uninteresting. It's the very definition of a "What If?" scenario. That's it's this close to what was once the season finale is another point against it. However, this was the first episode I actively disliked in a while. Mostly I've been okay with the show.

I'm still watching, and while I'm sorry to see the show end, I'm not blind to its faults. I'm a sucker for time travel and alternate/parallel reality stories (even bad ones), so I appreciated this one.

However, while I don't normally nitpick shows, I did find it a bit hard to swallow that throughout the whole complex there was not another terminal or interface they could access the medical info independent of the upload.

Also, why did folks need to stay behind to keep the upload going? Start the upload, get back to Destiny, and maintain a safe orbit until the upload stops.

Overall, I enjoyed more episodes than not, but there was often a sense of wasted potential... :erm:
