Stargate- was there ever a RPG?

Ok, so I'm a loser and saw this movie for the first time a year or so ago...

Yes, I know, it's a 15 yo movie

What can I say?I never knew the premise, only had heard of a TV show with the name and I figured the TV show was straight Sci-Fi series like B5 which I'm not a fan of, and frankly, Sci-Fi Channel shows alot of really bad movies and shows with thin plots, piss poor acting, and horrible effects.


Anyhoo- was there ever a StarGate RPG?

EDIT- OK I see that AEG produced a D20 version of the TV show- was there ever anything written around the movie? prior to D20?

Yes, it sold good, then the license was dropped IIRC or so.
It was a d20 modern /Spycraft variant IIRC.
And i've never even had a core rulebook, sadlily.

Edit: Actually i liked the series better than the movie.

Yeah, I saw a hardcover about 2 years ago at the local Barnes and Nobles. It looked pretty cool, but I didn't have enough money to blow on it. But yeah, it looked cool and was in hardcover.

I think the AEG stuff was it. My only other thought is to check if there was a dragon article adapting it around when the movie came out as they did that occasionally with books and video games and such.

I have all the AEG books and played several games. I really liked it.
