I agree, but in this case, I think its fewer lumens, but with more even dispersal. IOW, more space illuminated with less overall light emissions.

Meh, more lights. Maybe I'm weird in that I want my darkness to be, yanno, dark. Streetlights are brighter, sure, but they're limited in dispersal. This would put light everyfrigginwhere. I wonder if it'd be an issue with driving, too.
 


Might still try, though. They listed gold as one of the colors... I prefer blue, but c'mon- living at the end of a yellow brick road? :D

Blue is actually a really poor choice for illumination at night. It will be harder to see and harder to focus on. Green would be best for visibility, and a bit of red would help give more complete vision (if two colors are possible)
