Starship Thread

Since I have O.L.D. and N.E.W. monster threads, I figured a thread of starships you can use in your game without having to build one would be useful. There are three in the rulebook already (the Millenial, Ambusher, and Excalibur classes). Feel free to add your own (I know LucasC has built one). I've attached the template as well so you can format it like in the book. Right now, all I'm doing is using the template, then exporting it to PDF. I'm grabbing a snapshot of the PDF too.

I figured it might be interesting to add market value to the end. The Clarke, above, is worth 445 MCr. The Endeavor, below, is a bit more pricey at 5,579 MCr. Remember an MCr. is a megacredit - 1,000 credits.

I timed my creation of this one. It takes me roughly 12 minutes to build a starship. That said, I'm very familiar with the system.

I added cost to the template. It's the only way I know of to compare ship power levels for the purposes of balancing encounters.

I put it at the bottom as Market Value. That's a good measure of worth, but not combat effectiveness.

I'm currently working on a simple XP formula similar to the new monster one. No attributes, so it adds the damage dice of all weapons for offense. Then it adds speed, soak, and SS. I haven't tested it though.
