Has anyone ever played the 3,5 D&D modules Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Forest of Doom or Deathtrap Dungeon by Myriador?

(see http://www.myriador.com/index.html)

I always wanted to buy these modules but by the time I got the money together, the site seemed to have died. Does anyone know if they are still available?

And back on topic, I was playing Tunnels and Trolls and Traveller before the game-books came out, but lapped them up once I found them.

Was already very familiar with D&D when I got aholt of my first FFGBooks. My favorites were always Scorpion Swamp, Forest of Doom and especially City of Thieves. Unlike most of y'all, I hated Warlock of Firetop Mountain. I found it incredibly frustrating, the illustrations terrible, the design laughable and the whole concept cliche and boring, even when I was 12 or however old I was when I read it.

Howdy MadMaxim! :)

You forgot your Luck went down by one each time you used it? It took me some time to figure out, because I thought the only stat that really changed was your Stamina.

No, I basically never used luck except when it asked you to Test Luck in the Books. Therefore I didn't realise you could use it whenever you wanted to (in fights and so forth).

I must have missed that first time reading the rules and I don't remember re-reading the rules for the rest of the books. In my haste I was always straight into the adventure - since I (supposedly) already knew the rules.

DOH! :o

House of Hell was seriously scary, also because you could be scared to death!

I always wished someone would make a movie about that book...it was so atmospheric.
