Starting Elric?

White Wolf reprinted almost all of Michael Moorcock's work in hardcover and tradepaper back omnibus editions with the correct sequencing of the material up to that point as Moorcock has written at least two more Elric stories, not counting the comics, since then.

I picked up The Elric Saga Part I a few weeks ago based solely off reading the old AD&D Dieties & Demigods listing. I've read through Elric of Melnibone and Sailor on the Seas of Fate, and am now into Weird of the White Wolf. I'm enjoying the read, but where is Moonglum? And the books don't really match the expectations I had from reading D&DG.

Moonglum doesn't show up until the end of Chapter Two of Weird of the White Wolf.

Of course, there are rumors he's been written out altogether, but no one has confirmed them for sure that I've been able to determine.
