I'd love Space: 1889 d20. I'd pick that sucker up in a heartbeat.

yeah, it's on my list of "games to convert to d20 sometime in the next year or two."Joshua Dyal said:I'd love Space: 1889 d20. I'd pick that sucker up in a heartbeat.

i really love the steampunk genre, but i don't particularly care for settings where steampunk technology and magic are mixed together. something like Castle Falkenstein doesn't hold my interest, whereas something that was more like the "scientific romances" of Verne, Wells, and Doyle would be right up my alley.
i like my steampunk to be just "steam".
as far as roleplaying goes, the closest i've seen is a handful of Marcus Rowland's Forgotten Futures games, and of course, Space: 1889. i'd really love something d20, though...

see, i'm just the opposite. i have very little interest for steampunk with fantasy trappings like wizards and elves. i just want my etherships and canal Martians!Joshua Dyal said:Really, though, IK isn't steampunk per se -- it's fantasy with some steampunk elements. Which is probably more along my tastes for a game than pure steampunk anyway. Although I would jump all over a Space:1889 d20!![]()
