OH YES!! I was wondering recently what happened to him - Mr. Schend wrote some of my favorite 2nd ed. stuff (namely Lands of Intrigue, Empires of the Shining Sea, The Fall of Myth Drannor, and the Cormanthyr supplement for Arcane Age). I'm glad to see Bastion Press grab him! (Well, not literally...:))

Well when did Steven join? I thought he was one of the leads on A&H and that's older than S&M isn't it?

Steven was the lead designer behind Alchemy & Herbalists and joined us full time earlier this month. He's now working with me on polishing the Oathbound campaign setting so we can get it off to the printer at the end of the month.

And yes, I fully plan on having him design more stuff. ;-)

I imagine part of the difference is the bit between a freelance writer.. and a regular staff editor.
