Yeah, the husband might be the biggest problem, but I'm not quite sure if I can have the one and not the other. They do have two dogs, so maybe one needs to stay home with them (one of my other player's also have a dog, and my apartment isn't that big.. it would be a veritable zoo).
Aha! Obviously you need to speak with the couple's dogs and tell them the situation. Bribe them with treats to be on your side about having the husband stay home.

Problem solved!

Tear up all the character sheets, burn your books, and sit down in a huff, refusing to eat, or be drawn into conversation.

Shout at the top of your lungs "You all SUCK!"

If that doesn't help, start a new group.

Have you asked the dogs to play? They might prove to be less troublesome gaming group, if you can get past all the weird sniffing and whatnot.
