[STONES] Ambushed in Ossington

New ideas

paces back and forth outside the hut in which he's settled for the night, thinking aloud

The horseman rode into town. He was welcomed.

Then he rode off to visit the five locations of which we've been told--one of which is the burial place of a warlord. When he returned, he attempted to kill everyone.

Could it be that the horseman is possessed by the sprit of the warlord? If so, what does it want?

We need to find those elves...they are long-lived, and will know more of the history of Hullack Forest.

Van says, "Kaemris, I've been watching you, and I think you're better qualified to lead this expedition that I am. No, wait, before you answer--here me out. I was put in the leadership position of Selune's Champions against my better judgment, and also in the heat of the situation while we were in Aerunedar. Afterwards...well, there wasn't really many of us left talking afterwards, so what does that say about my leadership? Now, with this lastest mission, I gladly accepted it--I'm willing to do my part for Cormyr--but I forget important things. And you're the one who's been picking up my slack. Like sending off that message to Lord Ironhand. That kind of thing.

So, if you don't mind, would you consider taking the lead from here on out. At least until we're finished here in Hullack?
"

OOC: ...funny thing about that. There hasn't been a session to miss.

If it is the will of the group I will lead. And if I am adept enough at following the signs shown to us by Tymora, we will all be led to success. By the Grace of the Lady.
