Just out of interest is RPG piracy a big enough problem to be worth efforts to prevent it?
Even if you prosecuted everyone involved, would the legal and technician efforts be worth whatever increase in sales might result?
Most people don't seem to like PDF's as it is, if I'm going to use a book I'ld want a hardcopy and a photocopy or even laser printed document doesn't really cut it.
I do use RPGnow, but either for PDF only products or in a try before I buy sort of way (its also handy to be able to laser print handouts of spells or whatever for the players).
Are there really that many people downloading books that would otherwise buy them in the shops?

how about this. How about Penalizing the Very spreaders of this material. I know in FACT that 90% of RPG scans come from about 8 People on the net, Who mostly Reside in the US, and I would ENJOY help seeing these people facing a lawsuit. Heck, I'd like to get Some of the NETWORKS these people employed shut down ( I doubt Hasbro would persue this server in hungarian Courts, but I think it's time that these people get smacked with reality. They like to hide behind BS Politics and their Pisspoor community. Heck, One of the people actually WORKS For Rpgnow.com -
Although this won't affect Other Scenes, This network Needs to be taught a lession, for they Pirate the most material from the biggest names in the business , mainly WOTC, HASBRO ( even their Avalon Hill Titles), AEG, Decipher, Atlas, Palladium books, White wolf, Talsorian - I know for a fact that TSR's , WOTC,s Atlas, White Wolf, R Talsorian's , Steve Jackson Games, Entire product lines have been Pirated, and I think A few heads should roll by now. I also know someone who is employed by WOTC has also submitted his evidence to his superiors. These people Must be taught a lesson.

How do I know? Their SPOUSE Admitted to it, I would get into arguments with these people over their "rules" "Regulations" etc, all the time.
