Ah, I had to squint at this one for a bit. I think maybe the picture was digitally edited for some reason, and the two figures were farther away from each other before. Notice how her staff looks like the end is sitting RIGHT next to his foot, and she's leaning forward, yet somehow her arm holding the staff is behind him. And that might explain the missing leg as well...if there was originally something in between the dwarf and elf, and they cut it to move them closer, that's why her leg doesn't show behind his.
