For the first time a thread was closed after close to 20 pages, which I read in its entirety, and I have no idea what caused the lock since I did not see much of the vitriol the mods mentioned. Then I remembered my ignore list is working.

I think it does a good job at showing there's a good deal of great people to be found here, and it's often just a few individuals who can't control themselves, spoiling it for the rest of us.

Guys...

1. You don't discuss moderation.

2. It's tacky to discuss ignore lists.

3. This is in the wrong forum!

And 4. While Sonny's point is poignant when compared to why pdfs were shut down, we'll probably be reopening the thread. There was, however, more moderation required for anything since 4e's launch. Some people apparently thought it was okay to be giant buttheads, and we have no patience for that.
