Beta release version 1.0 is available for purchase and download from the Stregoneria website:-

Please note the following points before considering purchasing:-

1) The website does not allow for automated downloading so anyone who buys the game will be emailed a password manually so that they can access the download page.

2) This is beta release version 1.0 and is being sold at a reduced price as a result. All purchasers will receive all revisions of the document for free and they are encouraged to get in contact if they spot any typos, rules inconsistencies, anything they don't like etc. This is the whole point of the beta release, to revise the game according to customer feedback in the run-up to a finalised release.

3) This is an independant rpg that has taken a single author about 2 1/2 years to complete as a hobby. Please bear that in mind when evaluating the work.

4) The game has been designed to be modular: i.e, it can be played rules-lite, or all the advanced options can be used for a very detailed gaming experience.

5) Anyone that is interested in writing anything for the game, also please get in touch.

Strengths.

Being an independent game it has not had to follow any market trends or taylor its content to make sure that certain material is held back for later publication. It has been created with a no compromise dedication to crafting a game of the highest quality made for players who appreciate an rpg more for the depth of its rules than how many colour pictures it has inside.

This is not a glossy coffee table book with smatterings of gaudy artwork, it is a gritty representation of the horrors of the medieval battlefield and offers a more down to earth representation of the occult in a fantasy setting.

A game of this type is just not possible to be found through a conventional rpg company, market pressure will always water down a product to give it mass appeal. The beauty of an independent work, if done well, is that it never has to conform to such economic considerations.

Please don't think that this game is a flimsy, crudely presented work just because it is independent. It is almost 200 pages long. 200 pages where the page count hasn't been bumped up by using large font sizes, or wide margins. You are getting a hell of a lot of rpg for the measly asking price.
