I hope, that will be so. :] Those templates are a powerful variant to the common skeletons and zombies as written in the MM 3.5. I like them very much, as you can read....

Video games always have pesky skeletons that are not 101. They have spells and alternative weapons, more hit points, turn resistance (since they are higher HD), or whatnot.

The SRD says "Advancement: As base creature (or — if the base creature advances by character class)." but it also says that still have no HPs or abilities.

Who cares what that book says anyway right?
