Stuff I'd like to write

Sign me up for #3 and #4. I'm ready to see some ideas for opening up the game in new directions; we have new classes aplenty, and both the passage of time and the flexibility of powers are things I'd particularly like to see addressed. A drinking-themed adventure is always welcome, though, especially if it has skill challenge rules for drunkenness that can be used in any situation.

In one of my games the bard is a daughter of an extremely powerful spice merchant, intimates of the Emperor. Instead of using music to cast spells, her arcane powers are the focus of all her family's importance, focused through the lens of her heritage; her implement is her family's heraldic standard. It's an idea I got from Ari Marmell's Troubadour (Advanced Player's Guide), and one I really like.

I'd love to see Ryan riff off of this concept as a multi-classing mini-class. I'd use such rules extensively.

That is a great idea - it is one I overlooked when designing our bloodline powers. Sometimes the most obvious is the most elusive.
