Stun timing

hmm. Apparently timing is a matter of perspective. :)
I think I agree with your explanation though. Seems our way of keeping track of spell rounds may have confused me. I had thought of the monk's stunning fist as an example but had managed to talk my way out of it.

Most of the time it doesn't matter if the spell stops at the end of the character's turn or just before the beginning of their next; however I can see a few examples - such as an Owl's Wisdom staying up for a critical Will save that happens or a Stun effect lasting just long enough.
