Stupid avatar question

OK, so I'm the newbie here, can someone tell me the deal with all the avatars that are a variation of a white triangle on a green background?

I'm assume it's website, flag or clan related...

IIRC, it means "Go play", and it's supposed to be a self-identifying symbol for gamers.

Someone came up with it a few months ago, I think.

Basically, what it sums up to is a way to say "I'm a gamer" non-verbally. It's a neat concept, and one which I enthusiastically support
