Stupid Maxim!

The funniest part about this story is that Wizards of the Coast pumped a couple hundred thousand dollars into Maxim in 1999 to advertise 3rd edition.

What goes around comes around, I guess.

Hmmm... Well, not that I care for Maxim, which is certainly a very informative magazine *cough* - but that's somehow silly, make fun of the people, who have pumped money in you - even if it's 8 years ago.

Well, at least the video could've been funny instead of boring.

Cheers, LT.

stupid video- " look at the nerds, look at the nerds ...haha hahaha ..."

and the nerds highlighterd/interviewd were pretty darned lowkey for con-nerds, the maxim folks could have tried a little harder.

The guy who said he hadn't got laid at Gen-Con looked really disappointed, like he'd been the victim of false advertising.

If he would have asked me that question I would have responded with "Who goes to Gencon to get laid? I come here to play games... you must be thinking of spring break in Miami."

As I think of it, he was ripping off Triumph the comic dog pretty hard there... at least with the dog it would have been funny.

That would have worked really well if they had gotten someone better and actually prepared some questions to make the geeks look dorky. Instead, they just seemed dumb.

I still love Triumph interviewing the fans on line for Star Wars.
