(sub) Dungeon -Deities and Demigods: The Raven Queen

I think there's some rule somewhere that says you can't have good groups in Deities & Demigod articles. Because I seem to remember that the Bahamut article didn't have good groups in it.
I think good groups tend to show up in player-oriented material, and the emphasis is on benefits that they can provide to the PCs, e.g. feats and powers that the PCs can learn from them, while evil groups tend to show up in DM-oriented material, and the emphasis is on using them as adversaries.

First, I haven't read the article yet. I plan to in the next few days.

That said, reading the side bars in Divine Power gave a pretty good indication that the Raven Queen leaned more towards the Evil side of Unaligned than the Good side. She seemed like the archetypical ambitious human seizing power by any means necessary in the fluff provided in DP.

Such as the Raven Knights in the Raven Queen's Champions. Bahamut's Champions doesn't have any outright groups, but it's pretty silly to claim that there are no good options for Bahamut or the RQ when they have their own Channel Divinity articles.

Church of the Grey Feather is great, I approve.

And the MM3 cover is neat. :D I hadn't seen that.

raven queen

she is the goddess of fate and death, with limits on what she can do, and death just happens. it happens too good and evil characters alike, fate has stated that one should die.

i am playing a claric of the raven queen, a true servent of fate and death.

he is an executioner, now is a executioner evil or good? he is not, he does not go out and kill for the sake of killing, it is his sworn duty to provide safe passage between this life and the afterlife and every life is recorded as no one shall die nameless.

i forgo feats in the divine paths for now to aquire weapon profeciancy: great axe and headmans chop (+5 damage to prone targets with great axe or heavy blade)

when mans laws require ones fate to be scealed by death, then that falls to the claric intouch with the raven queen. he provides the last rights to the condemmed, gives and blesses the last meal, and does the final blow. then he cremates the body and offers the soul to the queen for further judgement.

should his aim be true, his axe will swiftly hasen the guilty to be judged. should his axe miss its mark then the Queens will is that this mans fate be to live, the queen judged and spared him.

in game play my character uses his allies(other players) as benchmarks for morality, as he doesnot consern himself with day to day cares and need his allys to keep himself centered and grounded. companionship is what staves off insanity especialy as an executioner.

he will heal his companions while in battle as his allys have assisted him in his work he knows that fate, and the queen, has brought them toghere for a reason. losing allys before their time is not benifical. but he will not cast raise dead on anyone no matter how close the ally is to them, that is the queens desision.

against living opponents to the party: at first and formost my character does not fear death or mortality, deaththreats and intimidation are laughed at, if he is to die its the will of the queen to call her champion home.

primarly at the start of the battle he doesent damage his enemies, he uses his at will(from the divine players guide) to debuff the enemy -2 to defences and provide small healing of 4-6 hp.

should he be attacked directly then he uses lance of fath and his other damageing at will. my character is primarly ranged.

should he be attacked in melee, he will eather use his headmans axe to provide melee defence and a quick 5 foot shift to get in a range attack without provokeing an attack of oppurtunity. he is slow and mythodical so his axe swings primaraly use gravity to do damage.
