Suggestion on a mount for a Dwarf Paladin?

Richards

Legend
The ermalkankari, or stone drake, seems like a pretty good fit for a dwarf. It's a heavily-armored dragon about the size of a warhorse, with a clublike tail and the ability to chew up and spit out rocks in a breath weapon attack. Details can be found in Dragon #284, "Return of the Greater Drakes."

Of course, that same article also details the mardallond, or mead drake, which might appeal to a dwarf for an entirley different reason.

The dwarven paladin in our game uses the riding lizard listed in the Arms & Equptment guide. It has an appropriate CR of 2, and it can climb vertical surfaces. His saddle has a high back to it so he doesn't fall off when it climbs. I think it's an exotic military saddle.

Mead drake! I'm going to have to get a copy of #284.
