A druid spell that allows a (non-armor or non-weapon) magic item to work even when subsoomed(sp?) into the next wildshape? one to allow multiple with the same casting?

just allowing them to work as normal even when an animal

any suggestions?

yes, but it won't work with weapons so disarming would not be a factor I would think(heh, unless you mean literally removing the 'arm')

As for remove, I don't know how much that'll be a factor

forgot about triggerable items though, only allow it to work with 'passive' non-activating effects

aka elven cloak, periapt of wisdom, and bracers of health; yes

wands, scrolls, ring of shootings stars and the like; no

ps) if you could also please include your reasons of balence if you suggest a certain level?

also remember that you still have to use a wildshape to get any use out of this spell.

My point was when a druid shapechanges, his clothes are not with him, but he doesn't loose them either. Is the magical item like the clothes in that it is not there but still works, or is it going to be an item on the character? Does that make sense?

Okay, so would such an item be able to be targeted by a dispel magic or similiar spell? Can it be detected?

If those answers are no, this is a very powerful spell.

yes

Can it be detected?

yes, maybe not by plain sight, but things that detect magic will detect it

in all ways they'll behave just as normal, take the same slots, just that they're not visible to the naked eye and they actually still affect the druid

[edit]: on and in that if the item is trigger activated it can't be activated

Then I agree with Jester that third sounds about right for one item.

*sage* can you give the reasons why though? please

in what ways can it be abused?(so that those may be fixed)

why not say a 2nd or 1st level spell? so on and so forth

I see it as maybe being a 1st level level spell for the following reasons

a) you still have to hand out the cold hard cash for the items themselves

b) you could have various passive items replaced cheaper by having the party's cleric or wizard cast spells on you

c) it doesn't work on armor, weapons, or trigger items

I know that I cannot see all angles

I'm not wanting an uber spell here. . .

if you give me your reasons and any possible balance abuses that you see that I may miss it would help me much more
