Suggestions for Magic Items (my players Stay Out)

Hello All. I’m looking for a bit of assistance in magic items I’ll be handing out in my campaign. First off, I’m a magic-miser. It’s not so much that the campaign is low-magic. It’s more that I believe magic items should be special and finding or being granted these items should be memorable. I also like items to have of a unique feel to them. I played a lot of Earthdawn back in the day, and I loved their system for unlocking powers in items, performing quests, etc.

So here’s the deal: Given that the PCs succeed in helping the proper heir claim the throne, he will grant items of worth to them. The heir knows that they still quest to potentially save the world from peril, so he wants to give them something useful to this end rather than land grants, coin, etc. All of that can come later. This is the justification for the items.

The world is Scarred Lands. PCs are all around 7th level. Can anyone suggest good useful ‘gift’ items for the following characters?

Druid 7: Has wolf companion. Has Natural Spell feat, to cast while in wildshape form. Known to wade into combat with flame blade. Major item possessed is a suit of hide armor DR 5 vs. piercing.

Fighter 7: Much like the spartan warriors, fights with spear & shield, short sword. Feats used: Dirty Fighting, Military Training (out of Players Guide to Fighters & Barbarians). Major item possessed is Advocate, a blade dedicated to the god of law, +2 vs. Chaos.

Monk 3/Sorceror 3: Acrobatic combatant, favors touch spells. Newer to the campaign, no true magic items yet.

(there’s also a cleric of the healing goddess, but I’ve got her item created.)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

A couple miscellaneous suggestions to peruse, steal, warp, discard, whatever:

Druid 7: Enhance the hide armor so it's effective while the druid is wildshaped. A flame blade token good for a use or two a day (this one might improve as the druid gains levels). A necklace that (somehow) enhances the druid's connection with his companion.

Fighter 7: Grant the shield the ability to cause fear in Chaotic opponents. Grant an enhancement bonus to the spear. Grant the spear the Returning ability.

Monk 3/Sorceror 3: Boots that enhance mobility. Hand wraps that add to touch attack bonus. A better-than-average (flying?) familiar.

Now I need to come up with a name for a merciful longspear +1 of the cleric's healing deity.
