Suggestions for "suggestion"

Balanor

First Post
I'm currently playing a campaign where I (a 11th level wizard/Master Specialist Enchanter) have a retributive suggestion of "jump down the nearest well" on at all times.

Though this has lead to several hilarious encounters with would be assassins, this got me wondering "what other hilarious things has this spell made people do?". So I would like to hear your awesome and/or hilarious use of the spell suggestion.

You should go streaking in the nearest town square. All the <persons/entities that the target considers attractive/masters, depending> like it when people do that.

Not particularly hilarious, but effective, and ticked of the DM:

bardic fascinate+suggestion:

'I suggest you tell me the truth'.

Who needs magic truthsaying spells when you have suggestion ? :)

Practical ones?

"You have no chance to win; I Suggest you run, and never look back" (very handy if you have a sneak-attacking archer in the party... especially when mounted - they can't see him, and so are effectively blind, denying dex, you see...).

"You have no chance to win; I Suggest you lay down your arms and surrender" (for when you want prisoners).

"You've found us out! We'll be attacking the west wall and it's too late to change our plans! I Suggest you let your superiors know right away!" (when you're attacking the North/South wall - but NOT when you're attacking the East wall; it's only a DC 25 Sense Motive to realize someone's under the influence of an Enchantment, and it goes better for you if they still get the wrong wall even when they do the opposite of what your disinformation would Suggest)

"We'll see through you no matter how you lie; I Suggest you tell us the truth" (for interrogations - mentioned already).

The problem with many Suggestions (such as "go jump down a well") is that the spell says it needs to be reasonable - and many of the things that nullify an opponent aren't exactly reasonable courses of action.

I've used: Why don't you go ahead and buy this ehm.. magical potted plant. It's for sale for a measely Xk gp.

And (I admit a bit cheesy): I want you to go and get me a shrubbery and then cut down the mightiest tree in the forest with.. a haring.

Keeps em busy though ^^

To send the creature looking for a nonexistant enemy: the invisible gnome is the real threat, find and kill him to ensure your victory.

To enhance the situational bonus of bardic fascination: You could appreciate the music more if you lied down and closed your eyes.

One a succubus used on a PC fighter that was raiding an evil cult's brothel: "I suggest you wait outside."

That duration on suggestion can be a real PITA with the right suggestion. :)
