Summer Flicks!

Of course X2. Matrix: Reloaded falls on my brother's birthday, and the only day I have a final this semester ><. Finding Nemo because Pixar will finally be freelance afterward, IIRC.

Not too excited about Hulk, or about LXG (Avengers, anyone?).

X2 and Matrix Reloaded I will definitely see opening weekend.

Hulk, LXG and T3 I'm lukewarm on. I'll wait at least a few weeks to hear the workd of mouth on all three.

I think Pirates will suck big time. Pirate movies have a bad history in recent decades. Hope I'm wrong.

This summer will be good, but I think Return of the King is the movie 99% of people are really waiting for.

Eh, it's third at best behind the two Matrix movies this year.

Ooh, me too! I love Pixars movies. May will be a great month.

Are we referring to this summer flicks or the must-see films of 2003?

Hell, yeah, I'm going to watch the third and final act of LOTR!!!

But for this summer I will watch:
  • X2 [*]The Hulk [*]Matrix Reloaded [*]Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (Animated Film)
  • Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (starring Russell Crowe, possibly better than that Pirates of the Carribean movie)

Hmm, I heard this one has had its release date pushed back to November-ish...

Master and Commander has been pushed back to a November release, in order to better place it for Oscar considerations.

Better Luck Tommorrow

although, it will be coming out this week. being asian, i always look forward to american cinema that focuses on asians outside of the typical kung-fu martial arts mold, although i love those movies as well.

Must sees: X2. Matrix: Reloaded. Finding Nemo. Kill Bill.

The Hulk and League of Extrodinary Gentlemen are likely sees.

I originally was quite leery of Pirates of the Caribbean...but the current exclusive trailer over at apple's quicktime site knocked it up a few notches to a 'most likely will see'.

I'm sorry to hear that Bulletproof Monk is turning out to not be the film I was hoping it would be, but I'll still go see it, but with lowered expectations.
