After reading the article in the latest Dragon concerning the revised summoning tables, I began to pay closer attention to the list in the PHB. Has there been some errata for the list? For instance a Djinn is clearly more powerful than a Janni, but the former is called with SMVII and the latter with SMVIII.
Also a Beblith and Elder Xorn seem to be pretty powerful for SMVII.
