Let's just say that while Darius' discomfiture could indeed have been a show of brilliant improvisational acting on Gordon's part, I'd rather go for the simpler explanation.

Anyway, there's nothing stopping you guys from providing advice to Darius. Assuming he tells you what happened. Or you make your Sense Motive checks to figure it out, which probably won't be that hard....
